Located in the centre of Nürnberg, Germany, this is one of the oldest and most popular Christmas markets in the country! Dating back to the 1530s, this gorgeous market sticks to tradition with its wooden stalls stuffed with sweet treats and perfect presents for all your family and friends! It’s also surrounded by beautiful architecture, with the gothic Frauenkirche overlooking the market.

This Parisian Christmas market is huge! The biggest market in Paris, this seasonal pop-up is located right next to the famous Louvre - stretching across the entire north edge of the Tuileries Garden! What makes this market different from the others in this blog is the amount of Christmas-themed rides there are throughout the Garden - more than just your classic ferris wheel! Make sure you bring gloves too as your fingers may get a little chilly whilst you glide along the quaint ice rink (which has a separate section for young children!).
