At Electroverse we are on a mission to make public charging simple so we are giving you the inside scoop on our charging operators so you know exactly what to expect the next time you head out to charge!
Osprey started their lives as Engenie Electric Vehicle Rapid Charging in 2016 when they were awarded a contract to install and operate six rapid charge points on behalf of Cheshire East Council, across three council car parks. Not long after the Fleet Council in Hampshire also installed an Engenie rapid charger in its town car park.
Following a substantial capital investment from Investec and a record breaking £35m investment from Cube Infrastructure Management Osprey continued to grow their network to include London's first ever rapid charging hub in Stratford, over 150 high-powered charging hubs across the UK, their first flagship charging hub, at Marston's Paisley Pear and the largest rapid charging hub in the South West!
